After World War II, in 1946, Carlo Giamminola, together with his brother-in-law, acquired Tessile Lombarda, a company based in Varese and specialized in the production of fabrics for accessories and linings. In 1953, Carlo Giamminola became the sole owner of the company, officially giving life to Industria Serica, which proudly carries his name to this day. Through passion and dedication, Carlo succeeded in transforming the company into a point of reference for Italian textile manufacturers.

In the years that followed, his son Vittorio joined the company, bringing innovative ideas and a forward-looking vision.
