Our story
In the late 1920s, Carlo Giamminola entered the textile world as an executive at a company specialized in the production of silk articles used for military parachutes. That era marked the beginning of a story that would lead to the creation of Industria Serica Giamminola, a name that today stands as a reference point in the textile industry.
After World War II, in 1946, Carlo Giamminola, together with his brother-in-law, acquired Tessile Lombarda, a textile company based in Varese, specialized in the production of fabrics for accessories and linings. This was a crucial moment for the company future and marked the beginning of its growth.
In 1953, Carlo Giamminola became the sole owner of the company, and in that moment Industria Serica Giamminola was officially born, proudly bearing his name to the present day. Textiles were in his DNA to the point that, with passion and dedication, Carlo managed to transform the company into a benchmark for all Italian textile enterprises.
Over the years, his son Vittorio joined the company, bringing with him innovative ideas and a forward-looking vision. These changes led to diversification in production, and Industria Serica began creating not only accessories but also a clothing line, responding to the evolving market demands.
Since then, thanks to Vittorio Giamminola’s entrepreneurial spirit and the dedication of his family, Industria Serica has gained the trust of businesses in the national and international markets, expanding significantly worldwide. The company’s reputation for the quality of its textiles and its innovative capabilities has made Industria Serica Giamminola a name of reference.
Today, the company is successfully managed by his daughter Federica, who keeps upholding the tradition of excellence and innovation that has characterized Industria Serica Giamminola since its birth.
